HOUSTON, Texas - John Ivan Woodyard, of Houston, formerly of Chester, Pa., died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, in his home after a brief illness. He was 44. Ivan was born May 16, 1964, in Chester, Pa., to the late Elector Coffee Brower and John Raymond Woodyard. Ivan spend his childhood in Chester, Pa., where he attended elementary and high school. He traveled, living in several states before settling in Houston making it his home. Ivan owned and operated his own trucking company, at the time of his death. He leaves to cherish his memory tow brothers, Etzel and Regina Brower of Swedesboro, N.J., and Mark Chris and Deborah Brower of Harrisburg, Pa.; a sister, Brenda Diane Morris of Fayetteville, N.C.; seven nieces and nephews; six aunts, Eleanor and Dr. George R. Kent of Dover, Del., Irene W. Brown of Westminister, Md., Eugenia W. Gilbert of Tampa, Fla., Kuline W. and Robert W. Miller of Lewes, Del., Angalean W. and Issac Costley of Westminister, Md., and Ethel Sessom of Tampa, Fla.; numerous cousins and relative from Chester, Pa.; and his extended family, David A. Shepard, Lois Profit; and his beloved cat, "Bellaire"; and a host of friends from Houston. Services will be noon Saturday in Whatcoat UM Church, on Salisbury Road in Dover, Del. Viewing will be held at the church one our prior. Burial will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Part. The Rev. Marcus d. Briddell will officiate. Arrangements by Miller Funeral Services, Lewes, Del.
