John Garnett Young, 89

LINCOLN - John Garnett Young, of Slaughter Neck Road, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009, in his home. Born on July 16, 1919, he was 89. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. today, Jan. 28, 2009, at the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, Slaughter Neck Road, Slaughter Neck. Burial will be in the Old Hickory Cemetery, Slaughter Neck. Arrangements are being handled by Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Milford.
