MYRNA - John Fitzgerald Johnson Sr., of Smyrna, passed away Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008. He was 37. John was born March 17, 1971, in Elkton, Md., the son of James Ferrell Johnson and Rebecca Johnson with whom he lived. He worked as a boilermaker in New Jersey. John was a member of the Mustang Club and enjoyed restoring and detailing Mustangs. He was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence M. Johnson in 2007. In addition to his parents, he is survived by four children, Kyle, Ashley, John Jr. and Abby; a brother, James F. Johnson Jr. of Smyrna; and a sister, Samantha L. Johnson of Elkton. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in the Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 South Main Street Smyrna, where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery Smyrna.
