Smith, 90 DOVER - Jewell "Judy" T. Smith of Dover passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at home. She was 90. Mrs. Smith was born November 27, 1923 in Franklin County, Illinois to the late Benjamin F. Tackett and Anna Lee Rayburn Tackett. She was a self-employed China Painting Teacher from 1958 till 2000. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Smith, Jr. in 1999. She is survived by her son, Anthony Smith and his wife Nancy of Norfolk, Va.; daughters, Susan Novellino of Dover, Linda Chambers and her husband Lane of Cumming, Ga.; grandchildren, Christina Bactat, Alicia Smith, Anthony Smith, Katye Chambers, Maggie Chambers, Amiee Carter and James Novellino; great grandchildren, Edvardo Bactat, Joshua Smith, Cole and Lillee Carter. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Christ Episcopal Church, 501 S. State Street, Dover, DE 19901. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
