Jesse D. King, Sr. FELTON - Jesse D. King, Sr., 75, a resident of Felton, Del., died on May 18, 2010 at Kent General Hospital in Dover, Del. He was born November 30, 1934 in Arnold, Md., where he was raised, graduated from Annapolis High School and has lived the past five years in Felton. Mr. King served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1956 in the 2nd Armored Division. He was employed with AT&T/Lucent where he was a technologist for 35 years. He loved NASCAR and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert King. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Mildred King of Felton,; his children, Jesse D. King, Jr. (JoAnn) of Centreville, Md., Walter King (Lynnanne) of Timonium, Md., Debbie Griffith (Andrew) of Catonsville, Md. and Mike King (Kim) of Centreville, Md.; two brothers, Walter King (Leverne) of Calif., and Branton King (Marie) of N.C.; two sisters, Frances Whittington of Annapolis, Md., and Alice Burkhardt of Arnold, Md.; ten grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Family and friends may visit from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 23, 2010, at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Gov. Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146. A Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 24 at Asbury United Methodist Church, 78 Church Road, Arnold, MD 21012. Interment will follow in Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery.
