FELTON Jennifer Nicole Lord Woody, "Jen" passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 31. Jen was born on Sept. 10, 1982 in Washington, D.C. She was a graduate of Caesar Rodney High School, Class of 2000 where she was in the high school band and the National Honor Society. She also had attended the University of Delaware. Jen was a pharmaceutical technician. She enjoyed going to the beach and shopping. She will be missed by so many. She was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Joseph Piatkowski; grandfather, Charles McGinnis; and an uncle, Steven Piatkowski. Jen is survived by her husband, Jessie Woody; three children, Taylor Miller, Alexis Woody and Jessie Woody; father G. Robert Lord, Jr.; mother, Faith Piatkowski Lord; a sister, Megan Lord-DeRiggi; brother-in-law, Christopher DeRiggi; nieces, Isabella DeRiggi and Sophia DeRiggi; maternal grandmother, Ruth Anne McGinnis; paternal grandmother, Shirley F. Lord; paternal grandfather, G. Robert Lord, uncles Kevin Piatkowski, Mark Piatkowski, and Norris Taylor; aunts, Lisa Piatkowski and Shelley Taylor; cousins, Caroline Taylor, Michael Taylor and Matthew Taylor. Service will be 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 18 in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where the family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 pm.
