Jennie L. Cofield

DOVER Jennie L. Cofield passed away Friday, Nov. 11, 2011 surrounded by her family and friends. Jennie was born on Feb. 13, 1951 in Sayre, Pa. She was employed for the past 28 years as a paralegal for Barros, McNamara, Malkiewicz and Taylor of Dover. Jennie was a member of the Delaware Paralegal Association and the Corvette Club. She had an incredible zest for life and sharing time with friends She is preceded in death by her father, Lawayne Blakeman; and a brother, Ronald Blakeman. Jennie is survived by her mother, Ann Dunning of Waverly, N.Y.; a brother, Wayne Blakeman of Lockwood, N.Y.; three sisters, Ann Marie Stedge of Waverly, N.Y., Octive Healey and her husband David of Winter Springs, Fla., and Jodi Austin and her husband Steve of Waverly, N.Y.; sister-in-law, Garnet Blakeman of Schertz, Texas; aunt, Phyllis Cochi of Sayer, Pa.; and several nieces, nephews and an extended family of friends and her chocolate lab Willow. A celebration of her life will be 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may gather two hours before services. Burial will be private. Flowers are welcome, but for those who wish, the family suggests a contribution in Jennie's memory can be mailed to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963 or Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue, P.O.
