She soon began working part-time as an administrative assistant for Dr. Christopher Baldt at Long Neck Chiropractic until retiring completely. In addition to her parents, Jennalea was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Flanagan; and son, Michael Flanagan. Jennalea and Harry raised their son, Mike in Frederica. She later moved to Slaughter Beach to live on the Delaware Bay. She retired to Long Neck and finally moved to Hearthstone in Milford to be close to family. Survivors include her brother, Edward L. Miller and his wife Harriet; nephews, Jason M. Miller and wife Erin, Michael T. Miller and partner Derick; great nieces, Emery and Ashlynn; great-nephew, Kyle; a special family pet, Baxter; and a "circle of loving, caring friends." Services will be Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford. Interment will follow at Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
