Jeffrey W. Baker, 51 FELTON - Jeffrey W. Baker, 51, of Felton, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. Mr. Baker was born on Nov. 23, 1957, in Weymouth, Mass., to the late Robert and Dorthea Paulson Baker. Mr. Baker loved cats, dogs, Texas Hold 'em, Gumby, and his obscure Vinyl LP Record collection. His love of music prompted him and his business partner Carl Weis to form an online company that catered to the most discrete collectors of far out, vintage, and rare tunes specializing in vinyl recordings. Jeff was a bona fide music lover and that gave him the patience to sort through shops, basements, and garages full of CDs, vinyl records, and tapes. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Joanna Sekcienski Baker; four daughters, Angela Stansell of Wilmington, Carrie Caldwell of Lewes, Laurie Data and husband Wayne of Greenwood, and Amy Whaley and husband Michael of Harrington; two brothers, Richard Baker and David Baker, both of Felton; a sister, Susan Porter and husband Ron of Greenwood, S.C.; cousins, Janet and Allen Glassman of Center Barnstead, N.H., and Jennifer and Nate Jacob of New York, N.Y.; and an aunt, Evelyn Face of Palm Harbor, Fla. "Pop Pop Froggy" unconditionally loved by his grandchildren, Amanda, JJ, Tony, Charlotte, Jonathan, Christian, Joe Wheeler, Thomas, Marianna, and Joe Bug. Services will be 7 p.m., Thursday, at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S Washington Street, Millsboro, where friends may call after 5 p.m. Interment will be at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 32112 Vines Creek Road, Dagsboro. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Delaware SPCA, 22918 DuPont HWY, Georgetown, DE 19947 in memory of Jeff. Letters of condolence may be emailed via www.watsonfh.com.
