DOVER - Jeffery Andrew Russell, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2009, in the Riverside Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, after a lengthy battle with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). He was 45. Jeff was born on Feb. 22, 1964, in Dover, to Sharon Russell, later to be raised by Ethel Warren and the late Raymond Warren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Lorraine Russell; and one nephew, Randolph Henry Collier. Jeff is survived by his adopted mother, Ethel Warren of Dover; his mother, Sharon Russell of Wilmington; five sisters, Ethel J. Burris (Myrtle) of Felton, Alice D. Collier of Philadelphia, Pa., Irma Elmandorf (Curtis) of Dover, Pandora Freeman (Arthur) of Dover, and Joyce E. Burris (Charles) of Camden; three brothers, Hershall Russell, Eric Russell, both of Wilmington, and John Driggus of Dover; one daughter, India Trower of Dover; two grandchildren, De'Indai and Brier of Dover; three special aunts, Barbara Berry of Smyrna, Geraldine Jackson (Ivan) of Clayton, and Emily Warren (Martin) of Clayton; three special uncles, James Russell of Dover, Rev. Raymond Russell (Patricia) of Clayton, and Hollis Russell of Clayton; godparents, Elder and Mrs. Louis Bowers Sr. of Woodside; three special friends, Glen Matthews, John Gardley (Big John), and Anthony Potts, and all the Boys; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. The memorial service will be 12 noon Saturday, May 16, 2009 in Bibleway Temple Institutional Church of God in Christ, 56 S. Kirkwood St., Dover. Burial will be private.
