MILFORD - Jeanette M. Mifflin was called home to be with her Heavenly Father on Aug. 4, 2011, at Bayhealth Medical Center, Milford. She was 73. She was the daughter of the late Roscoe Crapper and Helen Nichols. She served as faithful member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church until her passing, serving as Lay Leader, Lay Speaker, Gospel Choir Director, Youth Choir Director, Unity Choir member, Sunday School Superintendent, United Methodist Women's Treasurer and Play Director. She was former Director of the United Methodist Men's Choir and honorary recipient of the Stewardship Recognition Award. Her loving husband, Thomas R. Mifflin; one brother, Randolph Crapper; and one sister, Florence Leonard, preceded her in death. She is survived by four children, Pamela D. Waters (Tommy) of Harrington, Brian T. Mifflin (Trudy) of Magnolia, Karen E. Mifflin of Harrington, and Janice A. Williams (Anthony) of Georgetown; ten grandchildren, André Mifflin, Denetra Mifflin, Tyron Mifflin, LaShana Mifflin White (Marquel), Stephanie Cirwithian, Shanéa Mifflin, Tiffany Cirwithian, Briana Mifflin, Toneisha Williams, and Antonio Williams; 16 great-grandchildren and a host of beloved relatives and close friends. A Musical Celebration of Life viewing will be 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 12, 2011. A second viewing will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, followed by Funeral Services at 1 p.m. All services will be held at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 23115 Slaughter Neck Road, Lincoln (Slaughter Neck).
