CHESWOLD — Rep. William Bush, D-Dover, and Dover City Councilman Brian E. Lewis attended the grand opening/housewarming on Nov. 11 of Janie’s Hands Veterans Transitional Home.

The home will help keep veterans out of the cold this winter and offer various services to get veterans back on their feet.

Francis Perry, founder of Janie’s Hands, had a vision to open a shelter or home to distinctly serve and assist the homeless veteran population.
