LINCOLN - Janet Marie Carey passed away on July 3, 2015. She was born on March 15, 1943 to Alfred & Mildred Mitchell. On November 15, 1968, she married David L. Carey. She had been employed at Superfresh & Woolworth's. She retired in 2013. Janet is preceeded in death by her father, Alfred; and sister, Joan Niblett. Janet is surived by her mother, Mildred; husband, David; daughter, Diane; son, Ray & wife, Trudy; grandchildren, Allison, Hannah, & Grace. A memorial will be held on July 8, 2015 at 5 p.m. at Christian Tabernacle on Johnson Street in Lincoln. Dinner to follow memorial. In leiu of flowers, donations can be made at Christian Tabernacle.
