Janet Denise Hopkins, 45
SEAFORD - Janet Denise Hopkins, of Seaford, died Thursday, April 2, 2009, at the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. She was 45. Born in Lewes, she was the daughter of Ruth Smith Turner of Seaford and the late Johnnie George. She was a member of Kingdom Life Family Ministries, Inc., Millsboro. Prior to her passing, she was employed as a certified nursing assistant at the Stokley Center, Millsboro. In addition to her mother, loving memories will be cherished by her husband, Walter H. Hopkins of Seaford; a daughter, Erica Hopkins of Seaford; two godchildren, Devon Hubbs of Millsboro and Tyla Gibbs of Laurel; a brother, Danny (Mary) George of Salisbury, Md.; four sisters, Patsy (Robert) Dredden of Thomaston, Ga., Charlene (Owen) Lans of Millsboro, Sheila Fosque of Frankford, and Deloris Fosque of Baltimore; several uncles, aunts, cousins, in-laws, other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 11, at St. John Second Baptist Church in Mt. Joy, near Millsboro. Pastor Helena M. Bailey will be officiating. Family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.
