WORTON, Md. - James "Pat" Wallace of Worton, Md. died on Tuesday, Mar. 21, 2017, at his home.
Born on Dec. 29, 1952, he was the son of the late Bernard H. and Anna Mae Hanifee Wallace. He was a graduate of Chestertown High School, class of 1970. Mr. Wallace worked with Johnson Controls, Inc. for 42 years and medically retired in 2016. He coached, T-Ball, Little League, and Kent County High School Baseball. He was also an assistant coach for Kent County High School Football. Mr. Wallace played in the Men's Softball League with several different teams. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, family and friends and riding his Harley. He was a member of the Kent County F.F.A. and U.A.W.
In addition to his loving and caring wife of 33 years, Donna Wolf Wallace; he is survived by six siblings, Nancy Unruh, of Rock Hall, Md., Paul Wallace, of Kennedyville, Md., Joann Connolley, of Chestertown, Md., Sharon Gray, of Seaford, Bernice Pyfer, of Worton, Md., and Lydia Stubbs, of Chestertown, Md.; a close sister-in-law, Debbie Wolf; mother-in-law, Janet Wolf; several nieces and nephews; and his four children.
Services will be held on Sunday, Mar. 26, 2017, at 1 p.m., at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, Chestertown, Md., where relatives and friends may call on Saturday, Mar. 25, 2017, from 2 to 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, 600 Celebrate Life Parkway, Newnan, GA 30265 or Compass Regional Hospice, 255 Comet Drive, Centreville, MD 21617.
