MILFORD - James Thomas Green Sr. (Jay), of Milford, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at his home with his wife Patty by his side. He was 46. Jay was born Feb. 8, 1964, in Milford, to William and Elizabeth "Jean" Green Sr. of Dover. Jay enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, attending to his chickens and driving and working with heavy equipment in the construction field. He had a passion for hunting and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Patty Green of Milford; his parents, William and Jean Green of Dover; a son, James T. Green Jr. (Jake) of Dover; two daughters, Kendra Sego (Anthony) of Hartly, Kate Morgan (Daryl) of Dover; brother, William E. Green Jr. (Janice) of Kentucky; sister, Sherry Lynn Kemp (Ricky) of Magnolia; grandchildren, Melody, Jasmine, David and Isaiah Morgan, Adeline Sarah and William Sego; brothers in-law, Allen Jones, Chris Wyatt and Frank Keen, Kenny Trice; sister in-law, Peggy Keen along with several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday Jan. 3, 2011, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S.
