James R. 'Hop' Hopper, 66

TOWNSEND - James R. "Hop" Hopper, passed away Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, in Kent General Hospital in Dover. He was 66. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Irene M. Hopper; two sons, David Hopper, of Townsend, and James Hopper Jr., of Del Tura, Fla.; two daughters, Denys Demczak, of Clayton, and Donna Geisinger of N.J.; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be noon on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008 at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, 212 N. Broad St., Middletown, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to services.
