James Paul Booton, 69

DOVER - James Paul Booton, of Dover, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008, at his home with family. He was 69. He was born on Aug. 29, 1939, in Camden, N.J., to James and Susanna Ogbin Booton. Mr. Booton was a 20 year U.S. Air Force and Vietnam War veteran. He worked for over 20 years for Trappe Packing as plant manager. He enjoyed family cruising and vacations, also photography, computers, and watching the grandchildren's sport activities. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Marlene Booton of Dover; son, Paul Booton of Dover; daughter and her husband, Michael and Brandie Booton of Felton; daughter and her husband, Marcie and Ernie Simons of Camden; brother, John Booton of Gardner, Kan.; sister, Susanna Krulock of Elyria, Ohio; sister, Vena Glendon of Fort Dix, N.J.; and grandchildren, Caitlyn, Jimmy, Michael, Olvia, Kay, Christopher, and Amy. Remembrance services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Trader Funeral Home, Dover. Burial will be at the Sharon Hill Memorial Park, Dover. A gathering of friends and family may also call 11 a.m. until time of the service Monday at the Trader Funeral Home.
