ELKTON, Md. - James Howard Wallace, 64, of Elkton, died April 15, 2012, as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born in Elkton on April 10, 1948, James was the son of the late Randolph and Carolyn Jones Wallace. He graduated from Bohemia Manor High School and following graduation, enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from the Air Force with the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. Most recently, he was employed at Dassault Falcon Jet in New Castle. He was a member of the Chesapeake City, Md., VFW Post 7687 and the Dover American Legion Post No 2. James enjoyed boating, crabbing, fishing and hunting as well as an avid NASCAR fan. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Barbara Stanley Wallace of Elkton; a daughter, Christina Wallace of Philadelphia, Pa.; a son, Jason Wallace and his fiancé Deirdre Stokes of Smyrna; a grandson, Parker James Wallace and a sister Alane Wallace of Dover. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Randy and Daniel Wallace. A service honoring his life will be held at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main St., Elkton, MD 21921, on Friday April 20, 2012, at noon. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Thursday April 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. or one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Elkton Cemetery.
