James Freddie Parker SLAUGHTER NECK - James Freddie Parker departed this life on Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, in Slaughter Neck. He was the son of the late Samuel Parker Sr. He was educated at Lake Forest High School, Felton. Freddie worked as a truck driver at Swift & Company over ten years until closing. He then went to work at Perdue in Milford as a truck driver. He enjoyed sports cars, watching wrestling, and old westerns on TV. He also loved eating crabs. He loved to attend family gatherings. He enjoyed joking around and playing with the children at the family gatherings. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, grandparents, and one brother-in-law. He leaves to cherish his mother, Gertrude Parker of Felton; three sons, Freddie Moses Jr., and wife Helena, James Freddie Moses, Tyrone Moses of Frederica; and a stepson, Eric Moses of Rehoboth Beach; four sisters, May Fletcher and husband Leonard of Harrington, Dorothy Watkins and husband Matthew of Felton, Rachel Stevenson of Dover, and Alberta Parker of Felton; three brothers, Samuel Parker Jr. and wife Idamae of Milford, William Parker of Felton, and Thomas Parker of Felton; one sister-in-law and three brothers-in-law, nine grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends, the family he had in Slaughter Neck, the Cannons, and also the family of Frederica, the Moses'.
