James Addoffis Mingo

BRIDGEVILLE - James Addoffis Mingo departed this life on Sunday, May 19, 2013, at Wilmington VA Medical Center in Wilmington. Born in Geneva, Ala., he was the son of the late Allen Mingo and Minnie Mingo. He served in the United States Navy as a Steward First Class. Loving memories will be cherished by his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth Mingo of Bridgeville; one son, John E. Mingo of Bridgeville; two brothers, Howard Mingo of Miami, Fla. and William Mingo of Tallahassee, Fla.; three sisters, Martha Griffon of Miami, Fla., Willie Mae Johns of Caryville, Fla. and Pauline Mingo of Panama City, Fla.; two sisters-in-law, Mallie Horsley of Philadelphia, Pa. and Bettie Kelley of Frankford; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Mingo and Robert Mingo. Mr. Mingo will lie in repose on Saturday, May 25, 2013, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Antioch A.M.E. Church located on 194 Clayton Avenue in Frankford. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will be on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery located on 26669 Patriots Way in Millsboro.
