James A. Lane, 75 DOVER - James A. Lane, 75, of Dover, passed away July 22, 2010, at Christiana Hospital. He was born on Feb. 9, 1935, in Kenton, son of the late Ralph and Elva (Teat) Lane. James served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He had worked for Willis Chevrolet as a mechanic. He was a member of the American Legion Post 2. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Deborah Lane; four children, Carl Lane of Kansas, Wanda Ramsey, Denise Homich, both of New Castle, and Amy Patterson of Dover; two sisters, Vivian Moffett of Dover, and Alberta Allen of North East, Md.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, July 30, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Rd., Bear. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE 19934 to help with expenses. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
