Laurel - Jade Móney Showell departed this life on Sunday, March 8, 2015, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. Born in Seaford, she was the daughter of Douglas and Alisha I. Showell III, both of Laurel. She was a member of Coming Down From Heaven Ministries, Inc. and a student at North Laurel Elementary School. In addition to her parents, she will be lovingly remembered by three sisters, Katoria Showell, Cierra Showell, both of Seaford, and Kaia Showell of Laurel; one brother, LaVaar (Lakeria) Showell of Millsboro; maternal grandmother, Carla Jackson of Bridgeville; maternal great-grandmother, Mary Lingard of Bridgeville; paternal grandmother, Pastor Lou Brenda Showell of Millsboro; paternal great-grandmother, Mary Ellen Diggs of Frankford; one nephew, Freddie Freeman of Seaford; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, friends, and church family members. Jade will lie in repose on Saturday, March 14, 2015, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Pentecostal Church of God, 9163 Greentop Road, Lincoln. The funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. Pastor Thomas Hoy will officiate. Disposition will be private. A ministry of comfort and dignity is being provided by Lewis N.
