Jacomina J. Hauck

MARYDEL - Jacomina "Minnie" J. Hauck passed away on Dec. 10, 2017 at the Silver Lake Center in Dover.
She was born on Jul. 22, 1924 in Hasbrouck Heights, N.J. to the late John and Wilamenia Van Horn Zweemer. Mrs. Hauck worked as the Postmaster in Marydel until her retirement. She was a member of the Marydel Methodist Church and of the Templeville Homemakers.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hauck was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Hauck.
She is survived by her son, Robert Hauck (Carol) of Virginia; and daughter, Sandra Seward of Marydel; grandchildren, Barbara Ann, Michael, Eric, Susan and Karen; as well as 12 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home in Greensboro with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Templeville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kent County SPCA at 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934 or to the shelter of your choice.
