HARRINGTON - Jacob James Cuevas, loved by so many, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, at the age of 19 days. Jacob was born Sept. 21, 2008, in Christiana Hospital, the son of Nichole Rene' Jackson and James Jason Jimmy Cuevas. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James Pavlishin, and his maternal great-grandparents, Patrick and Mildred McConnell. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Patrick and Diane McConnell, of Harrington, and Lawrence Jackson of Houston; his paternal grandmother Diana Cuevas, of New York; his maternal great-grandparents, Alice and Samuel Sockriter, of Ellendale; his paternal great-grandmother, Lydia Lopez, of New York; aunts and uncles, Dominique Cuevas, Jessica Pavlishin, Joshua Santiago, Amber Cuevas, Crystal Perez and her husband Noe, Christina Lopez and Derick Colon; three cousins, Devon Perez, Kayleen Fernandez, and Christian Pavlishin; as well as several great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins. A memorial Mass was celebrated 12 p.m. Monday at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church, 109 Dixon St., Harrington. Burial was in Milford Community Cemetery, Rt. 113, Milford. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Christiana Hospital's Neonatal Unit, C/O Christiana Hospital, P.O. Box 6001, Newark, DE 19718. Arrangements by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford.
