Jackie Young Calloway

LINCOLN - Jackie Young Calloway, age 40, of Lincoln, passed away Friday, July 22, 2011, in her home. Jackie was a teacher with the Milford School District. She taught Special Education and 2nd grade. She is survived by her two sons, Shane Young and Christian Calloway, both of Lincoln; mother and step-father, Norma (Kenton) Krumm and husband Larry of Milford; her father, Howard Young, of Lincoln; two brothers, Lt. Cmdr. Kenneth Young, stationed in Italy and David Young of Bedford, Ky.; sister, Joanne Wedderien of Marcus Hook, Pa.; step-sister, Lindsay Faith Ludden of Dover; aunt, Joan Huffman of Hebron, Md.; and niece, Heather Drew and husband Carl of Indiana. A funeral service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2011, in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, with visitation after noon. Burial will be in Milford Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Christian Calloway Scholarship Fund, (please contact funeral home or family for further information) or to Crossroad Community Church, 20684 State Forest Road, Georgetown, DE 19947.
