Jack O. Billodeaux

DOVER - Jack O. Billodeaux, of Dover, died Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at Kent General Hospital. He was 99. He was born May 8, 1911, in Eunice, La., to the late Artelus Billodeaux and Domilise Bushnell Billodeaux. Mr. Billodeaux was a veteran of WWII serving in the United States Navy. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Dover, the Knights of Columbus, American Legion Walter L. Fox Post #2 and the Fleet Reserve Association. He enjoyed fishing our local lakes, crafts, and gardening. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Catherine E. Sears Billodeaux of Dover; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 22, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State Street, Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State Street, Dover, DE 19901. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
