DOVER - Irene Rebecca Patillo died Thursday, Sept. 29. She was 101. She was born July 23, 1910, in Keota, Okla., to Albert Lee Mackey and Cora Mae (Wells) Mackey. Irene received little formal education, as she spent her time helping on the farm, and later as a housewife. She married Charles M. Patillo in June of 1932 in Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, six brothers, and two sisters. She is survived by a daughter, May Carr and her husband Ben of Oklahoma; a son, Albert J. Patillo and his wife Marion of Smyrna; daughter-in-law, Mary Patillo Texas; a sister, Ruby Jane Peterman and her husband Norman of Oklahoma; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
