HARRINGTON - Irene M. Fry, of Harrington, passed away Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, in the Westminster Health Center, Dover, surrounded by her loving family. She was 77. She was born on June 29, 1933, in Harrington. Irene's life was her family and she will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and mom-mom. She was a good cook and was known for her special dishes, especially her chicken salad and fried chicken. Left behind to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 60 years, Robert Fry; devoted daughter, Helen Todd and her husband Clifford; two loving granddaughters, Kimberly Pippin and her husband William, and Rebecca Dill and her husband Gregory; and two special great-grandchildren, Kailyn and Kelden Pippin, and baby Dill due in April, all of Harrington. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may gather one hour earlier. Burial will follow in the Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, 200 Continental Dr. Suite 101, Newark, DE 19713.
