Ida-Mae Ranshaw

DOVER - Ida-Mae Ranshaw of Dover, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016 at Christiana Hospital. Mrs. Ranshaw was born April 27, 1965 in Dover, Delaware to Barbara Bilbrough Stevens of Clayton and the late Ronald Stevens, Jr. She worked in various restaurants and had also drove school buses. Mrs. Ranshaw enjoyed spending time with her family and listening to Stevie Ray Vaughn. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence Stevens. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Orie Ranshaw, Jr. of Dover; sons, Orie Ranshaw, III and David Ranshaw both of Dover; brothers, Ronald Stevens, III of Clayton, Brian Stevens of Marydel, Md.; sisters, Brenda Lee Long of Little Heaven, Del. and Tracy Mackey and her husband Richard of Boyertown, Pa. A memorial service will be held 12 noon, Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
