Hyatt transforms into winter wonderland throughout December

Posted

Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay in Cambridge has announced its schedule of holiday experiences for guests. Throughout the season, the resort will feature a variety of seasonal activities including “Breakfast with Santa” events, a life-size gingerbread house display, cooking decorating sessions, holiday-themed crafts and games, and more.

“The holiday season is a magical time on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, and we are thrilled to welcome our guests and local community for a festive winter getaway,” said Brianna Guzman, area director of marketing and communications at Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay. “Our team has developed an unforgettable schedule of experiences that provides activities every member of the family will love, from meet and greets with Santa to dive-in holiday movies at our spacious indoor heated pool.”

The “Breakfast with Santa” events will take place Saturday, Dec.16, and Saturday, Dec. 23, at the resort’s Water’s Edge Grill. Between 8:30 a.m. and noon, families can enjoy a delicious menu of breakfast items while they meet and take photos with Jolly Old St. Nicholas.

New this year, the resort will debut an oversized gingerbread house display created by the resort’s talented pastry team. The extravagant display will be available for guests to see and take photos with throughout the holiday season.

Additionally, the resort will also provide cookie decorating sessions on select dates in December, a North Pole station where children can write letters to Santa, and holiday themed crafts and games every weekend throughout the season.

Families can also enjoy the Winter Garden atrium with a spacious 23-meter heated indoor pool with a giant screen showing nightly holiday “dive-in” movies.
