QUEEN ANNE, Md. - Howard (Howardy) S. Pinder Jr., of Queen Anne, died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, at the Memorial Hospital in Easton. He was 59. Born in Easton, Mr. Pinder was the son of Howard S. Pinder, Sr. and Elizabeth Saunders Pinder, both of Queen Anne. Mr. Pinder was a 1967 graduate of Queen Anne High School in Centreville. He had worked for many years at Black and Decker Manufacturing in Easton. Recently, he was a self-employed trim-carpenter and owned and operated the Pintail Construction and Woodworks, LLC with his son, Dale. One of his greatest joys was camping with his wife and family in Chincoteague, Va. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pinder is survived by his wife, Jackie P. Pinder of Queen Anne; two sons, Dale Pinder and his wife Laurie of Bridgetown, and Ryan Pinder of Queen Anne; two daughters, Marcy Blazejak and her husband Aaron of Ridgely, and Casey Pinder of Denton; two brothers, Chuck Pinder and his wife Lois Ann of Seaford, Del., and Jeff Pinder and his wife Trish of Bridgeville, Del.; and his granddaughter, Lexi Blazejak. The funeral service was held Sunday, Oct. 4, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second Street, Denton. The interment was in the Greenmount Cemetery, Shore Hwy., Hillsboro. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests for friends to send memorial donations to the American Heart Association, 216 N. Main St., Federalsburg, MD 21632.
