HARTLY - Howard Pleasanton, Sr., passed away Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016 at Kent General Hospital. Howard was born Sept. 4, 1938 in Little Creek, to the late Nattie Pleasanton and May Cook Pleasanton. He was an Iron Worker for Local #451, retiring in 1995 after 31 years. Howard loved horses and enjoyed horseback riding. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, William Charles, Chet, Earl, Emmett and Carl Pleasanton, Lillian Foraker and Grace Tinley. He is survived by his sons, Wade and his wife, Renee, of Long Beach, Calif., Howard, Jr., of Marydel, Randy and his wife, Janice, of Mobile, Ala., and Scott and his wife, Mindie, of Hartly; grandchildren, Whaylon, Elizabeth, Howie, Megan, Jordan and Boe. Memorial services will be held Sunday, at 12 p.m., Nov. 13, 2016 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior.
