President Donald Trump has implemented several additional tariffs on countries like Canada, Mexico and China since his administration began last month. Do you think this move will affect Delaware, especially with the state’s exports of agricultural goods? What can be done to ease the situation?
Tariffs will become a normal way of life for the entire country. Everyone should be worried more about corporations leaving the state and the lack of revenue that will provide. Our current incorporation laws are not as friendly as some other states’ and should be changed. — Pete Peno
Of course, it will affect all. In late fall through winter, all fruits and vegetables come from Mexico and South America. So, our prices will go up. To save money, we can buy frozen instead of fresh, but that will not taste the same. It seems Donald Trump and his henchmen really do not care about the average American.
