LEWES — As part of its ongoing holiday film series, the Cinema Art Theater, 17701 Dartmouth Dr, has added showings of “White Christmas” and “Fiddler on the Roof,” plus a special showing of comedy classic “The Blues Brothers” on New Year’s Eve.
White Christmas is scheduled for two showings, one on Dec. 24 at 3:30 p.m. and on Dec. 26 at 1 p.m., and tells the story of two song-and-dance men who team up after the war to become one of the hottest acts in show business.
Fiddler on the Roof will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 25, and is about a poor Jewish milkman struggling with the challenges of pre-revolution Russia as his daughters fall in love and antisemitism grows.
On Dec. 31 at 7 p.m., join Jake and Elwood Blues on their mission from God to put their band back together and save the orphanage where they grew up.
Admission is $9 for members, $11.50 for general audiences and $9 for students and active military.
