DuPont, 58 LAUREL - Herman William DuPont, departed this life Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012. Herman was preceded in death by his parents, Hearlin L. DuPont and Herman W. Anderson, Sr.; and a brother, David DuPont. He leaves to cherish his memory a son, Lavelle Eugene Hadley and his wife Latoya Byrd Hadley; a step-daughter, D'edra West; three grandchildren; brothers, Wardell DuPont and Charles DuPont; sisters, Willie M. Wuthem, Eleanor J. Brown, Ethel M. Odom, Darlene M. DuPont Carr and Dr. Sheila DuPont Nichols; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. There will be a viewing from 5 to 7 p.m. today, Dec. 14, 2012 at Congo Funeral Home, 2317 N. Market St., Wilmington, DE 19802. Funeral services will be noon, Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at St. Matthews First Baptist Church, Wolf Alley, Laurel, DE 19956; viewing will be 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Burial, St. Matthews Cemetery.
