MILLINGTON, Md. - Herman W. Voshell, Jr., 75, of Millington, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at home surrounded by his loving family. Herman was born on July 1, 1935, son of the late Herman W. 'Pop' Voshell, Sr. and Josephine Davis Voshell. He was raised in Sassafras and as a teen he and his family moved to Millington. He owned and operated Voshell's Luncheonette in Millington for 27 years, closing in 1990. He currently owned and operated a School Bus, driving for over 35 years for the Kent County Board of Education. Herman was a Life member of the Millington Vol. Fire Department, where at the age of 20 he was severely burned during the Kent Oil Explosion on May 18, 1956. He enjoyed going to Dover Downs and playing the slots, playing cards and working in his yard. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Voshell. Herman is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara Misawic Voshell; his daughter, Frances Albia and her husband Nick Albia, Jr. of Millington; two step-daughters, B.J. Appenzeller of Smyrna, Del., and Gail Appenzeller of Preston; a step-son, Eddie Appenzeller of Millington; a sister, Josephine McHenry of Millington; two grandchildren, Stacy Nau and her husband Nicholas of Worton, and Nicholas Albia, III of Millington; and devoted lifelong friends, Clayton and Teal Mitchell of Kennedyville. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 29, 2010, in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010. Burial in Asbury Cemetery, Millington. Memorials may be offered to the Kent County Relay for Life, P.O.
