DOVER - Helen M. Singleton, 96, of Dover, passed away Monday, Oct. 12, 2009, at Silverlake Nursing Center, Dover, where she was a resided for the last ten months. Prior to that she was at Heritage Assisted Living for five years. She was born on Nov. 8, 1912, in Dover to the late Charles and Mary Massey Moor, Sr. She was a member of Peoples United Church of Christ and the Women's Fellowship group. She retired from Dover Ice & Fuel, and later worked for Dover Laundry and Dry Cleaners. She was preceded in death by one sister, Nellie Hubbard; and five brothers, Massey, Charles, Albert, Harry, and Francis Moor. She is survived by her nephew and his wife and caretakers, William C. and Margaret Moor of Dover; and several nephews and nieces. Remembrance Services will be 1 p.m., Monday, Oct. 19, at Trader Funeral Home, Dover, where friends may call one hour prior. Burial will be at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Peoples United Church of Christ, 46 South Bradford Street, Dover, DE 19904.
