Helen Jeanette Phillips, 72
SEAFORD - Helen Jeanette Phillips, age 72, of Seaford, passed away on Oct. 11, 2009, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Laurel, a daughter of the late Elwood Perdue and Dorothy Wooten. She is survived by her sons, Michael Smith and wife Pam, Steven Smith and girlfriend Teresa Adkins, and Mark Smith, Sr. and wife Deana; a daughter, Freda Miller and husband William "Coyle"; her brothers, Wayne and Preston Perdue; a sister, Ruth Rementer and husband David of Georgetown; and several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service was held at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home on Wednesday, Oct. 14. The Pastor Dave Kiser officiated. Internment followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
