Helen F. Meleri, 87 DOVER - Helen F. Meleri, 87, formerly of Dover, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010, at Pinnacale Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center, Smyrna. She was born on Dec. 2, 1922, in Shenandoah Valley, Va., to the late Isaac and Lethia Mowbray Knick. Helen lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed family events, camping, and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Meleri Jr.; and a daughter, Judith A. Skadsberg; and her son Steven Meleri. She is survived by son, David H. Meleri of Dover; brothers, Clinton Knick of Hagerstown, Md., Harold Knick of Cumberland, Md., Isaac Knick Jr. of Paulestine, Texas; sister, Dolores Newhouse of Baltimore, Md.; special care givers and grandchildren, granddaughter and her husband, Marnita and Thomas Wilson of Felton, grandson, John H. Skadsberg of Dover; great-grandson, Tommy Wilson of Felton; and dear family friend, Charles E. Donophan. Remembrance services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, May 27, at Trader Funeral Home, Dover. Burial will be at the Sharon Hill Memorial Park, Dover. Friends may also call from 11 a.m. to noon, Thursday, at the Trader Funeral Home in Dover. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus Street, Dover, DE 19901, to defray funeral costs.
