Geyer, 80 MILFORD - Helen D. Ritter Geyer, 80, of Milford passed away on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015 at Bayhealth/Kent General Hospital. She was born in Lewes, the daughter of the late Roy and Mildred (Green) Ritter. She was a secretary for the Bethesda Naval Hospital. She enjoyed the beach and dearly loved her children and grandchildren. She was an animal lover, especially dogs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Carl Ritter, Elberta Johnson and Charles Ritter. She is survived by her children, Corinne Cooper (Leroy), Walter John Geyer, Jr. (Serey), Denise Moore (Rich) and David Reidar Geyer, Sr. (Garsy); and her childhood and lifetime best friend, Beauna Mae Newcomb; 16 grandchildren, Laurie, Angela, Kimberly, Leroy, Jr., Dustin, Steven, Jaime, Jennifer, Christopher, R.J., David, Jr., Davon, Michael, Maryha, Jackie, and Jasmine; 14 great grandchildren; eight nieces and five nephews. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call Friday night, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Interment will be in Whites Chapel Cemetery, Milton.
