DOVER - Helen B. Wolstenholme of Dover passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016 at the Country Rest Home, Greenwood. She was 94. Mrs. Wolstenholme was born July 31, 1921 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Henry Hoffman and Helen Raush Hoffman. She was a homemaker and enjoyed activities with her friends and family. Mrs. Wolstenholme was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Dover and very active in the church circles, was treasurer of the clothing closet and was active in the Sunday school programs. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William in 1999 and sister, Claire Kelly. She is survived by her sons, William E. Wolstenholme of Hayesville, N.C., David A. Wolstenholme and his wife Saundra of Springfield, Va. and Barry W. Wolstenholme of Middletown; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, 209 S. State Street, Dover, DE 19901.
