DOVER - Helen Ann Bugglin, of Dover,died Thursday August 5, 2010, at Westminster Village, Dover. She was 87. She died from Congestive Heart Failure secondary to long term Diabetes. Mrs. Bugglin was born July 18, 1923, in Kalamazoo, Mich., to the late John and Anna Glavin. Later in life, she worked as a secretary for Verbal Interaction Project, retiring after 8 years. Mrs. Bugglin enjoyed reading, gardening and delighted in her family and visitors. She was a member of Holy Cross Parish. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, George R. Bugglin in 2005; brothers, Richard Glavin, William Glavin; sister, Joanne Glavin; and grandson, Sean Norgart. She is survived by a son, J. Michael Bugglin and his wife Mary of Moraga, Calif.; daughters, Maureen C. McKenna and her husband James Z. McKenna of Ithaca, N.Y.; Joanne P. Norgart of Parker, Colo.; Susan M. Weber and her husband William F. Weber III of Parker, Colo.; Carol S. Bugglin, Ph.D. and her husband Mark S. Borer, M.D. of Dover; brother, Jack Glavin of Evanston, Ill.; grandchildren, Brian Weber, Ph.D., William Weber IV, Rev. Jason Weber, Zachary McKenna, Caitlin McKenna, Adrienne Bugglin, Lauren Bugglin, Ashley Norgart, Trent Norgart, Leslie Norgart, Eric Bugglin-Borer, Brett Bugglin-Borer, Leana Bugglin-Borer and Gwendolyn Bugglin-Borer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Monday, August 9, 2010, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State Street, Dover. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday evening at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Hwy, Ste. 201, Dover, DE 19901. Letters of condolence may be sent and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
