Heather Leigh Cannon, 49

GEORGETOWN - Heather Leigh Cannon, of Georgetown, died on Monday, Aug. 24, 2009, at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, Pa. She was 49. She was born in Wilmington, on Feb. 3, 1960. She was a member of the Wesley U.M. Church in Georgetown and the Church Choir. She was a coach for the Sussex Community Swim Team and enjoyed swimming, mowing her lawn and taking care of her flower garden. She was also a Friend of Bill W. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles R. Cannon. She is survived by her mother, Elfriede Reycraft of Newark; a daughter, Ashley N. Cannon of Georgetown; a brother, Craig Cannon and his wife Virginia of Wilmington; and niece, Crystal Cannon of Wilmington. Funeral Services will be 1 p.m., Friday, Aug. 28, at Wesley U.M. Church, 102 E. Laurel St., Georgetown, where friends may call after noon. Interment will be in St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Georgetown. Contributions may be made to Wesley U.M.
