Hayden O. Hunter

FELTON - Hayden O. Hunter, 71, of Felton, died Monday, Feb. 27, at home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Hunter retired from the U.S. Navy after 22 years of service. He also retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 20 years of service. Hayden will be forever remembered as a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Linda of Felton; sons, James Porter of Goldsboro, Md., Wm. Fleetwood Jr. of Magnolia; daughters, Kym Kelly and her husband Bill of Phoenix, Ariz., Lora Christopher and her husband Jimmy of Goldsboro, Md., Annie Tunstill and her husband Steven of Felton, and Jamie Davis of Felton; sisters, Carol Barton and her husband Gordon of Phoenix, Ariz., Beatrice Kelly and her husband George of Binghamton, N.Y.; five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Remembrances services with Honors will be Monday, March 5, 2012, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made to Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus Street, Dover, to help defray funeral expenses.
