Harvey James 'Jim' Calhoun DOVER - Harvey James "Jim" Calhoun went peacefully to be with our Lord on Feb. 14, 2010. Jim was born in Wilmington, on May 17, 1929, to the late Cecil and Aida Calhoun. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a carpenter prior to being disabled in 1979. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Catherine and Patricia Calhoun. He is survived by Diana Peters of Elkton, Md., Regina Hogan of Brookhaven, Pa., Mary Raker of Newark, Michael Markowski of Elkton, Md., Barbara Keen of Newark and nine grandchildren. Services will be 7 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 17, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may gather one hour earlier. Private burial will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Disabled Veterans of America, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
