GEORGETOWN - Hartzell Stanley Jones Sr. 83, of Georgetown, died Monday, July 18, 2011, at Bay Health Medical Center, Milford. He is the son of the late Edward Jones and Audrey Hearn Jones. He was preceded in death by one brother, Wilmer Lee Jones. He was a route Salesman for Sweetheart Bakery for over 30 years. Mr. Jones had a great love for the water and boating. He belonged to the American Power Boat Association and raced boats all over the East Coast and as far north as Canada. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting. He is survived by his two sons, Hartzell Stanley "Buck" Jones, Jr. and his wife Nora Lynn, and Albert L. Jones II and his wife Lola; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special caregivers, whom watched after him, Mary Beth and Randy Pepper; and a host of very special family and friends on Deal Island, especially the Willings. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
