Harry Joseph 'Joe' Moore, 60 GREENWOOD - Harry Joseph "Joe" Moore, of Greenwood, died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008, in his home surrounded by his family. He was 60. Mr. Moore was born in Greenwood, the son of Virginia (Baker) Moore and the late Robert Moore. He was a graduate of Greenwood High School. After high school, he joined the United States Army and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. Joe worked as a security guard for Bennett Security for six years. Prior to that, he worked security for eight years at Nanticoke Homes until they closed. Joe was a movie buff and enjoyed watching movies. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR, with his favorite driver being Dale Earnhardt Jr. He loved to draw, enjoyed fishing and enjoyed going to the auctions every week. He is survived by his mother, Virginia (Baker) Moore, of Greenwood; a sister, Esther (Sis) Saragino, of Greenwood; three brothers, Bill Moore, of Greenwood, Tommy Moore, of Ellendale and Danny Moore, of Greenwood and two nephews Robert Saragino and T.J. Chelton, both of Greenwood. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, Delaware 19966. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriot's Way, Milford, DE 19963. Arrangements by McKnatt, Carpenter & Baker Funeral Home, 50 Commerce Street, Harrington.
