Harriett A. Davis, 89 MILFORD - Harriett A. Davis, 89, of Milford, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 2009, at Bay Health Center, Milford. She was the daughter of the late David Salmons and Violet Derrickson Salmons. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Pendleton; second husband, Norman G. Davis; and three sisters, Louise, Grace, and Stella Mae Salmons; and two brothers, Charles and Ernest "Jack" Salmons. Mrs. Davis was a Hair Dresser and owned her own Beauty Shop Harriet's Beauty Shop in Milford for many years. She was a member of Avenue U.M. Church in Milford and loved yard work. She is survived by one brother, David Salmons and wife Melrose of Harrington; a niece, Deborah and husband William Moffett of Harrington, with whom she lived with for the past year; four nephews, Robert R. Salmons of Harrington, Ernest "Jack" Salmons II and wife Bonnie of Federalsburg, Md., David "Charles" and wife Linda Salmons, and James and wife Bea, all of North Carolina; and several great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. Services will be Monday, Nov. 30, in the Chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home at 2 p.m. where friends and family may call from noon to 2 p.m. for the viewing. Interment will be Milford Community Cemetery, Milford.
