CRISFIELD — The concert featuring harpist Joy Slavens scheduled last month at Crisfield Wesleyan Church is now set for 6 p.m. Sunday, March 8. She is the leader of an ensemble called Expressions of Joy at her church in Seaford and focuses on classical compositions and inspirational music.
As a composer, she has published a harp solo “One Tiny Light” as well as a choral anthem by the same title. She recently published a collection of Christmas selections for beginner harp students called “Joy at Christmas.”
