Harp concert March 8 at Crisfield Wesleyan
CRISFIELD — The concert featuring harpist Joy Slavens scheduled last month at Crisfield Wesleyan Church is now set for 6 p.m. Sunday, March 8. She is the leader of an ensemble called Expressions of Joy at her church in Seaford and focuses on classical compositions and inspirational music.
As a composer, she has published a harp solo “One Tiny Light” as well as a choral anthem by the same title. She recently published a collection of Christmas selections for beginner harp students called “Joy at Christmas.”
The public is welcome to attend Sunday’s service, the church is located at 3065 Lawsonia Road. Call Wanda Tyler at 410-968-2966 for more information.
